Our distinct flavor and exceptional quality of our Coffee originates and is attributed to the 8 different Production Zones in Costa Rica. These zones produce very special and distinct characteristics making our Coffee world-wide famous. Due to our privileged climate, our Coffee offers a diversity of Coffee Beans in order to satisfy the taste of everyone.

These eight regions are located among the Low Zones (less than 1000 meters above sea level), which gives the coffee a lighter flavor and the High Zones (above 1200 meters above sea level), which due to the areas Volcanic Origin, gives the coffee beans a greater acidity, body and aroma. Each of these eight regions of Costa Rica gives Café Rey the foundation for producing the best quality of coffee available in the world.

The 8 Regions: Brunca, Orosí, Tarrazú, Valle Occidental (West Valley), Valle Central (Central Valley), Tres Ríos, Turrialba, Guanacaste.
